Mouse Pad Magic: The Best of DIY
At some point during my hiatus, a good friend of mine [Pankita of The Society & Co.] asked me where she could get a cute mousepad - she needed one for her workspace at Coty. I gladly took it upon myself to do a little bit of research on her behalf.
Cue the floating lightbulb and TA-DA! After hours on the train, desperately clinging onto my 4G connection, weaving in and out of tunnels, and praying that my prehistoric iPhone wouldn't die, I did it! I had to go for the do-it-yourself projects, of course. After all, this is a design blog intended to inspire the Kathryn Irelands of the world.
Rounded up and neatly wrapped, this is your inspiration for a new desktop [or at least the start of it].

DESIGN TIP:
Leather is a great way to add texture to a boring desk. Go for soft pastel colors to ring in the spring season. Winter is over and there's no reason to loom over lost snow days and crazy blizzards.
