Louisa Wells is a talented photographer who runs her own print shop in New York City. When she’s not learning the ropes in graphic design, she finds inspiration from interior design and indie fashion magazines. She’s fallen back in love with this dying medium and has used it to gain perspectives on color, design, and the creative industry.
When you walk into her workspace, there’s no secrete she’s a photographer. Her organized, clean, and edgy aesthetic gives way to her successful work. One thing she absolutely can’t live without is her ink pens and Moleskin notebooks. She loves the convenience of jotting down ideas and thoughts right when they pop up in her mind. For this reason, she’ll always have an uncapped pen and open notebook on her desk.
Louisa is a firm believer that a creative working environment facilitates creative thinking. Her Theory of Place as far as a creative workspace goes is that it should be a place that is one hundred percent your own. If you aren’t comfortable with your space, you should make changes for it to fit you. To her, Theory of Place is about being comfortable and being your crazy creative self.
